How to switch between Highway interfaces (New Vs. Classic)
You can switch between the new and classic interfaces at any time while you become familiar with the updated experience.
You can swap between the new and classic interface by selecting the bottom right toggle in Highway.
Your account settings remain in the same location, and you can continue accessing the same carrier information, rules, tabs, and platform features.
Using Dark Mode
Dark Mode is available in the new interface and follows your computer’s display settings.
If Dark Mode is enabled on your computer, Highway will automatically display in Dark Mode. If your computer is using Light Mode, Highway will display in Light Mode.
What else has changed?
Failing Rules Are Displayed First
When a carrier fails a classification, the rules that caused the failure now appear at the top of the classification. This makes it easier to quickly understand the reason for the failed result and determine the appropriate next step.
Unified Search Experience
Carrier, vehicle, VIN, and contact searches are now organized within one consistent search experience. Shared navigation and filtering patterns make it easier to locate the information you need.
Search Functionality in the Equipment Tab
You can now search for a specific vehicle by VIN within the Equipment tab on a carrier’s profile.
Consolidated Loads Experience
Loads Index and TFX Loads are now combined into one unified loads experience, making it easier to manage and review loads from a single location.
My Network and Connections
My Network and Connections have been consolidated into one destination, simplifying how you access and manage carrier relationships.
Clearer Loading and Empty States
Updated loading screens and contextual empty states make it easier to understand what is happening, whether information is still loading, or what action to take next.
Updated Visual Design
The updated interface uses a consistent visual system across pages, including typography, spacing, colors, controls, cards, tables, modals, badges, and navigation.
Improved Accessibility and Usability
The redesigned interface includes clearer focus states, semantic labels, keyboard-friendly controls, responsive layouts, and mobile-friendly dialogs and sheets.
The updated Highway interface will become the default view starting October 8, 2026.
You can explore the new experience now and switch between the new and classic interfaces at any time.
We look forward to hearing what you think as you explore the new Highway experience.
