Overview

Highway supports SAML for our broker customers. Setting up a SAML integration with Highway enables Single Sign-On (SSO), which significantly enhances security and simplifies the user experience. With SAML, your team can access Highway using their existing company credentials, authenticated through your trusted Identity Provider (IdP).

This means Highway never handles the MFA through our own password-less login centralizing access control and reducing security risks. For your users, it eliminates the need to jump through another MFA, providing a seamless login experience. For administrators, it streamlines user provisioning and de-provisioning, allowing you to manage access to Highway directly from your central identity system.

Multiple Company Domains

Highway supports multiple company domains for a single broker account.

If you use more than one email domain (e.g., @abcfreight.com and @abc-logistics.com), please let your Highway Implementations team know all domains that should authenticate via SAML.

SCIM Support

At this time, Highway does not support SCIM user provisioning.

Technical Support

For configuration or troubleshooting help, contact your Highway Implementations team or email implementations@highway.com.

Supported Identity Providers

Highway supports SAML with most major IdPs.

The upcoming setup guides cover the most common providers:

  1. Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD)

  2. Google Workspace

  3. Okta

I'm not seeing my IdP. Can Highway support us?

If your IdP supports SAML and can export an XML metadata file, we can support it!

Reach out to implementations@gohighway.com for guidance.
