Add Highway's Workplace App
Sign in to your Google Admin console with a super administrator account.
Navigate directly to https://workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/highway/636866238808 and click install.
Follow the necessary prompts to complete installation.
Inform your Technical Sales Engineer at Highway that you've installed the application.
Highway will complete necessary configurations for your domain(s) and provide you a test link.
Once testing has concluded successfully, assign users and groups.
Assign Users and Groups
By default, the application is turned off for all users. You must enable it for the people who need access.
After creating the app, you'll be on the application's details page.
Click on User access.
Select an Organizational Unit or Group on the left to enable it for a specific set of users.
Click Save. Only users within the enabled group or organizational unit will be able to access the Highway broker portal.
After users have been added, the only thing left is to confirm your enforcement timeline (as soon as day-of setup). After the established enforcement timeline, all users of the company will be forced to authenticate through Google to access Highway.
Add a Custom SAML App
Sign in to your Google Admin console with a super administrator account.
From the home page, navigate to Apps > Web and mobile apps.
Click Add App > Add custom SAML app.
Give the application a name (
Highway SAML) and, optionally, an icon.Click Continue.
Configure SAML Settings
On the Google Identity Provider details page, you'll find the information you need to configure your SaaS product's SSO settings.
📘This is the identity provider (IdP) metadata.
You'll have two options to obtain this, but please select the Download Metadata option as this is what you'll need to provide to your Technical Sales Engineer at Highway.
After you've saved this information, click Continue.
On the next screen, Service Provider details, you'll enter the following information as the service provider (SP) metadata:

Click Continue to save the configuration.
